The Central Office and the Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on Vigorously Developing Ice and Snow Sports with the Opportunity of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics", proposing the strategy of "Northern Ice Expanding from the South to the West" to promote the expansion of ice and snow sports to the four seasons, and strive to achieve Drive the goal of "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports". The Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau actively responded to the national policy. On July 4, 2019, it issued a notice on “Several Measures to Seize Opportunities to Develop Ice and Snow Sports” to help the country prepare for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, seize opportunities, and base itself on Fujian’s reality. Targeted development of ice and snow sports; support the development of the ice and snow industry, and strive to achieve an output value of ice and snow reaching 15% of the total output value of the enterprise after five years of hard work.

After the completion of the Fujian Golden Eagle Ice Sports Club, we will focus on the promotion of ice sports, the cultivation of ice athletes and coaches, and the organization and promotion of ice sports events. We will gradually cultivate professional ice sports teams for relevant cities and regions. The ice sports lay the foundation for the "seven advances" activities such as entering offices, campuses, troops, factories and mines, rural areas, communities, and families. Through efforts, a better mass atmosphere for ice sports has been gradually formed throughout the province and vigorously promoted the better development of ice sports in Fujian Province.
